General: At “Celebrant Events”, your privacy is important to me. This Privacy Policy outlines how I collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Wedding Client Information: The information I collect from my wedding clients is used to comply with the requirements of the Marriage Act 1961 and the requirements of the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages. Also, to comply with the Marriage Act, I am required to retain your information for a period of not less than 12 months.
Disclosure of your information: I will not sell, rent or trade your personal information. I may disclose your information to service providers who assist in business operations (e.g., invoicing platforms), where legally required to do so (e.g., submission of marriage documentation to the Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages) or with your consent, for example when liaising with other vendors on your behalf.
Social Media: Consent for your image to be used on my website or social media channels is also covered in the agreement signed when booking. If you wish to opt out of this consent, I will abide by your instructions.
